About InsomniCheez, where to start? Well, InsomniCheez exists because its predecessor, CheezBot3, was starting to become obsolete. the code was messy and unreadable, and it was hard to add new features because of the unreadable code. InsomniCheez aims to be more modern and is being built with more programming experience than when I started CheezBot3.

The bot will also be far more customizable. There will be internationali(z|s)ation support, a log channel, and more coming soon. Except for the prefix. That still seems a bit too complicated for me and I don't feel like trying. The prefix is the underscore or _, by the way if you were wondering.

How to Use

To start using InsomniCheez, you can use any of the following commands:

config

If you haven't used a Discord Bot before, the convention is to have a prefix that will need to be used to get the bot's attention.

This is all basic stuff, you can skip this section if you like. It's here just to make sure everyone knows how to use InsomniCheez.

To use the commands prefix the word with the prefix, the underscore. E.g.: _config
Type it into a text channel and if it is valid, InsomniCheez will respond.

Commands

InsomniCheez, like most Discord bots work on commands. To see a list of all commands with information about each, use _help. You will be provided with a list of categories that you can choose to look at. To see each of the different categories or pages, type "_help <category>." Some commands will say that you need a certain permission to use it, meaning that for InsomniCheez to let you use the command, you will have to have that specific permission granted to you on the specific Discord server.
